The South Queensbury Fire Department has been serving the residents and visitors of the South Queensbury fire district and the town of Queensbury since 1949.

The South Queensbury Fire Department is responsible for responding to both Fire and EMS related emergency's, including but not limited to, first response EMS calls, motor vehicle accidents, water rescue, structure fires both residential and commercial, brush fires and any other emergency in which fire personal or apparatus may be needed.
